We are looking for a Shipping/Receiving Clerk in our DeKalb, IL location.

Primary Responsibilities:

Tracks work orders, resolves inventory discrepancies, cycle counts inventory, posts packing work orders, works closely with all production and shipping areas to ensure customers receive what they ordered on time and in the correct amounts. Receive incoming goods. Post all incoming parts in the system. Communicate with purchasing on any issues.

 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handles and keeps track of and posts work orders.

• Accurate data entry skills a must.

• Resolves inventory discrepancies.

• Performs cycle counts.

• Inspect and maintain all paperwork and records of each incoming order.

• Other duties as assigned.

  EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• H.S. Diploma a must plus equivalent work experience. Associates/Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

• Basic inventory concepts

• 1-2 years working in inventory control environment preferred.
