Description

Position Summary

This position is responsible for carrying out preventative and predictive maintenance on industrial machinery, to improve up-time and improve efficiencies, special projects to enhance safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives that support company goals.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lube machine
  • Mechanical repair of equipment
  • Plumbing, painting, drywall repair
  • Math skills and problem-solving attitude
  • Hand/ Power tool
  • Continuous improvement and special project
  • Assists in documenting repair and PM procedures

 

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 5 + years of Maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Experience with welding and torching
  • 5 years of experience using power tools, measuring tools, platform lifts, boom lift
  • 5 years 120v electrical experience.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Read, write, and speak in English.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Shop math required.

 

REASONING ABILITY

  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Handle problems involving variables in standardized situations.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Ability to do basic data entry.
