Position Summary

This position is responsible for set up, operating load and unload.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Processes all transactions in company systems in an accurate and timely manner.

· Perform first, in-process and final inspection using various measuring instruments.

· Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

· High School Diploma or equivalent required

· 0-3 months experience

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

· Ability to communicate, read and write in English.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

· Intermediate Shop Math

 

REASONING ABILITY

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints including geometric dimensioning.

· Ability to accurately perform inspections of produced work through use of appropriate quality tools, including but not limited to micrometers, calipers, and tape measures.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS

· Ability to do basic data entry.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee works in a manufacturing plant environment with normal exposure to noise, dust, and hazards associated with working in a high traffic, heavy machinery, manufacturing plant. Typical work hours are Monday through Thursday from 5:45 AM – 4:15 PM (may vary by area in department). Job requires overtime. Work hours may change at Management's discretion with prior notice.
