Position Summary

Under direction of department supervisor and operators, move material within department to and from departments using forklift, crane etc.

Working hours: 1st shift 

Essential Duties And Other Responsibilities
 
  • Safety Oriented
  • Identify, locate and move material to and from stock locations in a safe and productive manner through the use of standard forklift and overhead crane equipment.
  • Perform daily forklift operator’s safety/maintenance checklist.
  • This job will include other duties as assigned

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 6-12 months experience
  • Ability to communicate with others both written and verbally
     
Language Skills
 
  • Ability to communicate, read and write in English
     
Mathematical Skills
 
  • Ability to count and do basic arithmetic
     
REASONING ABILITY
 
  • Ability to operate scale equipment and use a calculator
     
Computer Skills
 
  • Ability to operate scale equipment and use a calculator
