Job Title: Drafter
POSITION SUMMARY:
Candidate will be responsible for executing general arrangement and manufacturing drawings for tanks and associated equipment utilizing AutoCAD.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily processing of orders and customer approval drawings.
Various drafting and design projects.
Standardizing and improving current drafting workflow and processes.
Tracking and improving personal metrics for drafting efficiency and accuracy.
Apply lean methodologies for improving personal and group throughput.
Assist with completing development projects.
Work with Engineering IT to automate processes.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Degree in Computer Aided Design preferred.
Solid modeling experience preferred (at least 1 year).
AutoCAD experience required (at least 1 year).
Drafting automation experience, a plus.
Experience with designing and drafting tanks a plus.
Minimal travel.
Ability to maintain an upbeat and positive attitude at all times.
Ability to work in self-directed, fast-paced professional environment.
High proficiency with computers skills, including email, MS Office.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and advanced geometry.
REASONING ABILITY:
Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
Handle problems involving variables in a standardized situation.
Ability to make decisions and know when/where to make concessions.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Advanced level of knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Walk, must be able to move about inside the manufacturing and office and occasionally on a construction site or outside of the manufacturing facility.
Use hands/fingers to feel, must be able to operate computers, machinery, dimensional equipment.
Sit and stand, must be able to work at a stationary desk that may require sitting or standing. Standing on concrete floor and uneven terrain will be required frequently.
Climb and balance, must climb stairs and ladders.
Stoop, kneel and crouch or crawl.
Talk/hear, must be able to communicate with operators and management frequently and exchange accurate information.
Lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.

Successful candidate is required to work in the CST office at least 4 days a week and may telecommute 1 day per week
