We are looking for an Engineer in our Conroe, TX location.

Safely create and drive growth by applying and performing efficient and effective structural analysis to the design of aluminum covers and domes for storage tanks, reservoirs, and architectural applications. Responsible for working closely with sales, project management, drafting resources, IT, and the structural engineering team. Constantly improve our engineering quality and on time performance.

 

Responsibilities:

• Structural design of aluminum covers and domes for storage tanks, reservoirs, and architectural applications
• Structural review of drawings and structural design calculations for quotes and orders

• Estimating Costs

• Delivering safe, mistake free structural designs and estimates on time

• Continuous Improvement / Product improvement

• Proactively work closely with sales to provide competitive solutions
• Ability to obtain multiple PE licenses.

• PE Stamp drawings (if qualified)

• Field and Site Surveys

 

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering school
• EIT – Passed Engineering In Training exam and a registered EIT.
• Professional Engineering license a plus – substantial increase in starting salary offer
• Structural engineering license a plus.
• Aluminum dome design experience a plus
• California SE license a plus – substantial increase in starting salary offer
• Illinois SE license a plus – increase starting salary offer
• NCEES registration a plus
• Multiple PE licenses a plus – increase starting salary offer
• FEA experience plus
• Willing to travel 10% of time
• Ability to maintain an upbeat and positive attitude at all times
• Ability to work in self-directed, fast-paced professional environment
• High proficiency with computers skills, including email, MS Office

Position preference to be located in Conroe, TX, USA. Other regions negotiable
