Position Summary
• Safety Oriented
• Identify, locate and move material to and from stock locations in a safe and productive manner through the use of standard forklift and overhead crane equipment.
• Perform daily forklift operator’s safety/maintenance checklist.
• This job will include other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 6-12 months experience
• Ability to communicate with others both written and verbally
LANGUAGE SKILLS
• Ability to communicate, read and write in English
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
• Ability to count and do basic arithmetic
REASONING ABILITY
• Ability to operate scale equipment and use a calculator
COMPUTER SKILLS
• Ability to operate scale equipment and use a calculator

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee works in a manufacturing plant environment with normal exposure to noise, dust, and hazards associated with working in a high traffic, heavy machinery, manufacturing plant. Employee must be able to work any shift.
Under direction of department supervisor and operators, move material within department to and from departments using forklift, crane etc.
Working hours: 2nd shift (2:30pm-1am)
