The Role:
The new Supply Chain Analyst role holds a critical position in developing and optimizing CST Industries’ newly launched SIOP initiative across 4 U.S. manufacturing facilities. Reporting to the Director of SIOP and working closely with cross-functional teams in Sales, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain, the Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for extracting and analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing insights and recommendations to drive continuous improvement throughout the SIOP process. The role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent attention to details, strong experience with a variety of systems and data tools, and the ability to effectively communicate data findings and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels within the organization.
Supply chain analyst responsibilities.
- Support the developing SIOP process by improving, organizing, and pulling data while consolidating information and presenting actionable findings to enhance key supply chain and SIOP initiatives.
- Conduct detailed analysis using a variety of software tools and system resources and convert to easily understandable and actionable steps for continuous improvement in the SIOP process
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to enhance supply chain efficiency, such as inventory optimization, demand forecasting, and consolidated sales forecasting in support of the monthly SIOP process
- Develop Scenario planning for Demand and Supply situations to optimize capacity and revenue plans for each facility while articulating the different options and impact
- Help develop, promote, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track supply chain performance and identify areas of concern or improvement.
- Generate reports and present findings to stakeholders, including senior management, to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Travel up to 15-20% to U.S. plants as needed.
- Position to be based in our DeKalb IL facility with 4 days in office and 1 day remote

Education and qualifications:
- Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or equivalent discipline
- 3 years of recent experience as a supply chain analyst or in a similar analytical role, preferably in a fast-paced, multi-site manufacturing organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to make sound business decisions.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, PowerBI, PowerPoint) to extract, manipulate, and present data to key decision-makers.
- Strong experience in Microsoft Excel: v-lookups, pivot tables, charts, queries, data analysis
- Solid understanding of supply chain management concepts, including inventory management, demand forecasting, supply analysis, sales forecasting, and master production scheduling
- Proficiency in using supply chain management systems and tools (e.g., D365 ERP, WMS) to support data analysis and decision-making.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) preferred and experience in applying them to drive process optimization.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and outliers in data analysis.
