Job Summary
Manages sales activities of assigned accounts, territory and product line by performing the following duties personally. Territory is the Western US.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Direct and organize the marketing, external sales and internal sales activities for the assigned area.
- Control and update CRM accounts, opportunities, and other relevant sales details for reporting purposes.
- Reviews customer information to determine customer needs, volume potential and discount rates as they relate to the assigned region, and develops sales campaigns to close individual sales.
- Recommends to the assigned accounts product simplification and standardization.
- Represents company at trade shows to promote product.
- Coordinates liaison between assigned region, accounts, and CST personnel.
- Controls personal expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.
- Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume and potential sales.
- Coordinate and optimize travel within assigned territory.

Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Education and/or Experience:
- Associate’s degree from two-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general-public.
Mathematical Skills:
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
Other Skills And Abilities:
- Prepare quotes and estimates from customer specifications.
- Up to 50% Travel and public speaking abilities are required.
- Access to personal transportation is required for travel.
