Responsibilities include recording of journal entries, maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers, and preparation of other financial reports to ensure accurate financial statements of the Company. The position is classified as salary exempt reporting to the Financial Director.

Position Responsibilities:

• Prepares draft Management Accounts for Europe & Middle East regions

• Prepares and records Journal Entries and other transactions into Company’s financial software

• Reviews applicable accounting reports and registers to ensure accuracy

• Prepares account reconciliations as required

• Maintains accurate records and control reports

• Prepares prepayments and accruals

• Maintains the Fixed Asset Register

• Processing and reconciliation of all stock transactions

• Prepares other financial and non-financial reports, including government returns as required

• Supervision of Administrator & Accounts Assistant

• Ensures that all relevant accounting and reporting deadlines are met on time.

• Raising purchase orders in line with company authorization matrix as required
• Other duties as assigned
• Provide support and supervision for the finance team in the absence of the Financial Director

Position Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and 3 years equivalent experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience;

• Professional certification (ACCA, CIMA etc.) or making progress toward -preferred;

• Familiar with a variety of the business & accounting concepts, practices and procedures;

• Proficient user of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access and ERP systems;

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
