Position Summary
Immediate Supervisor needed for the Supervision of a 3-6 man field construction crew.  Responsibilities include organizing, directing, and managing the construction activities from job start to project turnover.

Responsibilities

• Reading Construction Drawings and laying out materials.
• Maintaining a in-depth and intimate knowledge of all CST COVERS product lines including domes, vaults, flat covers (both EFC and FPFC), and Internal Floating Roofs (IFR’s).
• Identifying and coordinating for equipment including cranes, forklifts, air compressors and man lifts.
• Organizing the crew to build the project within the allotted time and budget.
• Safely organizing and directing crane operations.
• Interpersonal skills commensurate with maintaining excellent customer relations with the owner, GC, municipal representatives, etc.
• Reporting the status of the job on a daily basis including the progress relative to the schedule and budget, any identified safety and/or quality issues, and any anticipated problems (and their impact on the scheduled completion date).
• Ensuring a safe and clean worksite.
• Ensuring an atmosphere that promotes the growth/training of Construction Members and Lead Members.
• Maintaining and accounting for company tools and equipment.
• Complying with, and enforcing all safety rules and standards.

 
Formal Education & Certification
High School Diploma or GED
 
Knowledge & Experience

• Must have at least one-year continuous experience as a member of a CST COVERS Construction Crew (or equivalent outside experience).
• Management of other than CST COVERS or equivalent will possibly be accepted with minimum of 1 yrs management experience.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to train, guide and monitor the performance of Construction Members and Lead Members on the crew.
• Must be computer literate and capable of sending/receiving E-mail on the road.
• Must be capable and willing to work continuously on the road.
• Must be able to perform elevated work (> 6’) safely and confidently.
• Must have dependable transportation.
• Must be capable of physical demand levels of a HEAVY job position.
  • Floor to Knuckle : 100 lbs.                              
  • Knuckle to Shoulder : 60 lbs.
  • Floor to Overhead : 60 lbs.
  • Pushing Shoulder Height : 45 lbs
  • Pulling Shoulder Height : 50 lbs
  • Carrying Bilateral : 100 lbs.
• Must provide and wear steel-toed boots.
• Must be capable of passing basic tests on safety such as “Contractor Safety Council”
• You are required to pass a background check.
• Must possess a Valid driver’s license and have a good operating standing.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen

Work Conditions
Primarily outside work performed in all seasons.The work conditions are also elevated.
