We are looking for a Purchasing Assistant in our Winchester, TN location.

In this position you are responsible for compiling and maintaining records of business transactions and office activities of the Purchasing Department.  Responsible for basic order entry and maintenance of purchase orders. 

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring all purchase orders to ensure delivery and cost accuracy in accordance with agreed upon terms.
• Entering data to maintain purchase order log book.
• Assisting in the requisition and purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Maintaining procurement documents
• Disseminating performance metrics for department KPIs and vendor scorecards
• Maintaining an up-to-date vendor list
• General office duties

Job Requirements:

• Associates Degree in business or equivalent training/experience
• Ability to research and interpret data
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional environment
• Knowledge of vendor and product relationships
• Detail oriented and familiar with analytical tools and processes
• Ability to maintain an upbeat and positive attitude at all times
• Ability to work in self-directed, fast-paced professional environment
• High proficiency with computers skills, including email, MS Office
• High commitment to safety
