We are looking for a Director of Finance in our Conroe, TX location.

The Director of Finance will be a key member of the CST organization and in conjunction with the other Senior Management Team members will guide the organization to achievement of its operating and profitability goals. The Director of Finance will be responsible for providing business decision making support and related analytical analysis in addition to the standard financial accounting and related business support functions primarily for the Covers product lines.  Accounting,and Accounts Payable and Receivable for the Conroe TX., Rincon GA., and Gardena CA. locations will report directly to this position. Development of the existing staff will be a critical requirement to handle anticipated growth. Strong communication skills and the ability to successfully lead others in the organization are critical for success. 

Responsibilities

• Provides strategic financial input on decision making issues affecting the organization.
• Provide analytical and business decision making support to the Chief Financial Officer and other Senior Staff as required.
• Directs the preparation of all financial reports, including financial statements, weekly and monthly forecasts, tax returns and other reports for government regulatory agencies.
• Prepares the annual budget and internal forecasts as required, including cash flows.
• Completion of the external audit.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

 
Formal Education & Certification 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA preferred
• MBA preferred

 
Knowledge & Experience 

• At least 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated management, team building and organizational skills.
• Experience in providing financial direction to Senior Management and other functional departments.
• Familiarity with Percentage of Completion accounting.
• Experience in Microsoft Office and Shop Pro or similar ERP software package.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• CPA or MBA a plus.
