We are looking for a Drafter which will be based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This position will report to the Director of International Engineering & Asia Managing Director.

The Drafter will safely create and drive growth by applying and performing efficient and effective drafting expertise to bolted metal tanks and various options. Responsible for creating preliminary drawings in support of booking orders and approval drawings to support order processing. Constantly improve drafting processes to reduce errors and time throughout the quote, order and manufacturing processes. 

Responsibilities:

• Always deliver work on time but never sacrifice safety and quality to do it.
• Daily processing of drawings and Bills of Material to support sales, quotes, customer submittals, and the approval drawing process.
• Apply lean methodologies for improving personal and group throughput. Constantly offer improvement ideas for the drafting processes to management and IT.  Continuously improve personal processes.
• Track and improve personal metrics for drafting efficiency and accuracy; reduce errors.
• Work closely with sales, project management, drafting resources, IT, structural engineering, and U.S./UK drafting resources
• Ability to maintain an upbeat and positive attitude at all times
• Ability to work in self-directed, fast-paced professional environment
• High proficiency with computers skills, including email, MS Office

 
Job Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Aided Design/Drafting (2 year or 4 year acceptable)
• AutoCAD experience required (at least 1 yr).  Release 2010 or later.
• Solid modeling experience required (at least 1 yr)
• Drafting automation experience a plus
• Experience with designing and drafting tanks a plus but not required.
• Capable of speaking moderate English. 100% fluency not mandatory.
• Minimal travel.
