Description
We are looking for an HR Manager in our Parsons, KS location.

Here are some details about this position:

This position is responsible for Human Resources management and administration at the Parsons, Kansas location.  This includes employee performance and career development, safety, onboarding and workforce planning, and payroll and benefit administration. 
 
Responsibilities
  • Partners with Plant Management in advancing performance management and career development plans.
  • Responsible for regulations affecting employment and safety compliance
  • Conducts new employee orientations to ensure employees gain an understanding of company policies and procedures, safety, benefit plans and enrollment provisions
  • Provides effective advice to managers and employees regarding the interpretation of company policies and employment laws
  • Manages benefits administration for location employees including providing counsel to all employees so they can make informed benefit decisions
  • Processes required documentation through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record keeping and proper deductions
  • Responds to verifications of employment, unemployment claims and wage attachment orders
  • Manages administration of leave policies and FMLA
  • Maintains OSHA Logs; prepares & posts annual summary
  • Responsible for security, access and facility management issues
 Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field preferred.
  • PHR or SPHR a plus.
  • 3-5 years’ experience as a senior level HR Generalist or HR Manager
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Must have knowledge of Federal and State labor and employment laws
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive company and employee information.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing at all levels within the organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Travel up to 10%
