Position Summary
Reporting to the Inside Sales Director, the Major Projects Manager provides customers timely information, including complete bid packages, to assist in selection process and meet customer needs.
Responsibilities

Interact with Outside Sales, Project Management, Manufacturing, Engineering and Channel Partners as required to meet customer needs

Organize project kickoff meetings with Engineering, Project Management & Sales

Review and interpretation of the project’s engineering specification for Major Projects. I.e. Power Generation, Specialty Chemical & Mining applications

Work with Engineering Design to determine best solution for the project specification

Generate accurate quotes on timely basis

Assemble all required bid submittal contents from cross functional teams
-
Seek management approval as necessary
-
Interact with customers and channel partners with tank/silo details, follow-up, etc

Communication with installation partners to assemble complete materials & installation bid packages
-
Assure we are tracking toward our engineering due date and resolving all outstanding engineering issues between the company and customer.

Adjust CST Storage’s product offering accordingly per each project addendum issued.
Requirements
-
BS Degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management or related field

5 Years of proven Inside Sales or Project Manager experience

Power generation market experience preferred

Strong organizational skills, both interpersonal and project specific

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to maintain an upbeat and positive attitude at all times

Ability to work in self-directed, fast-paced professional environment

High proficiency with computers skills, including email, MS Office

Ability to multi-task several projects at one time
-
Exceptional problem-solving skills; able to identify problems and implement corrective actions

Maintain a strong set of core values utilized in daily decision-making

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings

Understand specifications, contracts and ability to review and interpret project terms and conditions
