Position Summary

We are looking for an energetic, pro-active and client oriented Manager who can grow our business in the North American industrial market. The preferred candidate will be able to offer truly significant value-added services that increase new customer signings, retain existing customers, and add significantly to CST Covers sales in the North American industrial market. As a leader in this market for the Covers Division, you will direct a sales force to achieve budgeted sales and profit goals.  This Manager will develop and recommend sales and marketing programs, set short and long term sales strategies and measure the progress of the plan versus actual performance.  The position reports to the Vice President of Sales, CST Covers.

Responsibilities
  • Manage, lead and consult sales personnel;
  • Hire, manage, train, direct independent network of sales representatives in the industrial market (as needed);
  • Develop and implement a sales and marketing strategy to achieve sales and profit goals;
  • Design and recommend sales and marketing programs;
  • Measure sales team progress versus plan and implement changes as necessary to maintain company’s leadership role in market;
  • Identify new markets, products and potential partnerships that are compatible with company’s existing efforts and will increase overall market share;
  • Identify and utilize outside training resources as necessary to develop all sales positions to full potential;
  • Participate in key market developments/proposals at committee level;
  • Attend various market specific trade shows.
Qualifications
  • Top level relationships throughout the market;
  • Ability to interface with key decision makers at all levels;
  • Broad industry knowledge of all potential company markets;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills;
  • Ability to read and understand technical/construction plans and specifications;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • General knowledge of construction procedures and processes;
  • Application experience with various Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and Explorer.
