Description
We are looking for CIT Installer for our Winchester, TN location.  Multiple positions open. 

SUMMARY:  Install fixtures and components in storage tanks.  Locates, measures, and outlines installation areas by interpreting blueprints and schematics to install components such as control panels, lights, heaters, slurry tanks, and bin activators.  Process will include knowledge of bending and installing conduit, painting and welding operations by performing the following duties:
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Install electrical equipment by measuring, cutting, bending and running conduit.
  • Interpret tank blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Drill holes and weld to attach brackets and other holding devices.
  • Trouble shoots electrical equipment.
  • Aligns, fits and assembles components inside of a storage tank.
  • Sets up and operates welder, magnetic drill, grinder, and other metalworking tools.
  • Knowledge of tank operations to include positioning, rolling and lifting.
  • Licensed forklift operator.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE (PREFERRED):
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year related experience and/or training.

LANGUAGE SKILLS 
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to carry out written and oral instructions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.  The employee is frequently exposed to vibration.  The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals.  The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.  The noise level is occasionally very loud.  Ear protection is required.  Travel to work sites for field service, unannounced overtime and movement between shifts may be needed based on job needs.
