Lenexa, KS location. This position will report to the CST Storage Accounting Manager and is a non-exempt position.

Position Summary
Responsibilities include processing financial transactions through various computerized accounting systems; ensuring Company policies and procedures are followed; and maintaining custody of financial records in an organized fashion. The position is classified as salary non-exempt reporting to the CST Storage Accounting Manager.
Responsibilities
- Prepares, creates and enters accurate journal entries and other financial information into the ERP systems as required;
- Enters transactional information accurately and efficiently into the ERP systems as required;
- Codes and vouchers plant, corporate, and construction payables and expense reports;
- Coordinates & processes customer invoicing in the ManMan ERP system;
- Understands basic freight terms and tax exemptions related to customer invoices;
- Coordinates monthly headcount reporting;
- Coordinates and maintains positive relations across divisions to properly record intercompany transactions;
- Answers internal and external inquiries and maintain good relations with customers;
- Maintains sub-ledger reports, reconciliations, and other spreadsheets as needed;
- Follows appropriate policies and procedures;
- Other duties as assigned.

- Be able to create, maintain, and update policies & procedures directly related to task/duties of position.
Position Requirements
- Minimum requirement of a two-year Associate’s Degree or equivalent education/experience
- Minimum of 3 years accounting experience preferred;
- Proficient user of Microsoft Excel and Word;
- 10-key by touch;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Strict attention to detail;
- Proven ability to maintain confidential information

- Reasoning Ability – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with situations involving several different variables.
- Language Skills – Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
