We are looking for a Buyer in our Winchester, TN location of CST Storage and is an exempt position.

This position will be responsible for procuring goods and services such as raw materials, equipment, tools, parts and supplies for the organization.

Responsibilities:

To provide procurement support to the Parsons, KS and Winchester, TN facilities, as well as field site erection and field services.  You will engage with internal business partners such as production managers, supervisors, and operators, ensuring continuity of supply meets both current and future needs.  You will be one of two Buyers who primarily purchase hardware, and materials to support production operations, but you will also procure materials and services for safety and office support.  You will coordinate and execute the day-to-day purchasing activities and resolve supplier quality, delivery, pricing and payment issues.  You will have production forecasting responsibilities to determine required materials and services.  You will work closely with suppliers with which CST has already developed contracts in order to build strategic relationships, ensuring they help the organization achieve service, cost, and quality goals. 

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in business or equivalent training/experience
• 3+ years Buyer experience in manufacturing preferred
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional environment
• Ability to plan and manage complex projects
• Willing to travel 15% of time
• Detail oriented and familiar with analytical tools and processes
• Ability to maintain an upbeat and positive attitude at all times
• Ability to work in self-directed, fast-paced professional environment
• High proficiency with computers skills, including email, MS Office
• High commitment to safety
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
• Ability to write routine reports in a professional manner.
