We are looking for a Scheduler in our Winchester, TN location.

Here are some details about this position:  Effectively develop, monitor, and control the production schedule and coordinate production activities to satisfy customer demand.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

• Develop weekly and monthly production schedules to meet budget plant output
• Schedules all approved jobs into ship weeks
• Develops production schedules for all plant departments based on priorities and due dates
• Maintain/Update changes to manufacturing schedule
• Develop a working knowledge of the company’s products and processes to ensure optimal production schedule stability, order creation, rescheduling, load-leveling, etc.
• Monitor manpower and overtime requirements, keeping HR informed of forecasted headcount needs
• Monitor Engineering release dates to aid in developing manufacturing schedules
• Track and report revenue and shipments daily
• Create and maintain various reports and worksheets, including EOM. missed shipments, warehouse inventory
• Report non-typical tanks/parts and communicate gaps and actions required
• Interface with Sales to update forecast
• Support the plant K.P.I.s
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Back up releasing of work orders
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
 

• 2 year associate degree minimum (4 year degree preferred)
• 3 years minimum scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment
• Must be able to effectively work independently as well as part of a team
• Must be able to interface with others in a professional manner.
• Computer proficiency in various computer software applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and database software
• Keen to attention to detail
• Ability to effectively prioritize and work multiple task
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques
