Description
We are looking for a Director of Sales for Latin America.  

Here are some details about this position:

The Director of Sales (DOS) is responsible for managing all CST outside sales efforts within a given territory.  The DOS will have a sales target based on previous activity in the region and expected growth.  The DOS will sell directly to end users as well as through a network of employees, independent sales representatives, Dealers and Distributors. DOS will strategically position the company to win desirable work and maintain/develop “preferred vendor” status within the target markets. 
 
Position Responsibilities:
 
 
  • Coordinate and direct sales to markets such as water, wastewater, bio energy, petroleum storage, bulk (dry) storage, OEM’s, tank builders and architectural;
  • Overall profit and loss responsibility for projects (as sold) into the territory;
  • Manage, train, direct, evaluate and replace (as needed) the network of sales representatives;
  • Sell direct to specific key accounts in the territory;
  • Plan, organize and implement sales strategies for the regions;
  • Establish objectives for marketing and selling company’s products;
  • Document review and clarifications on strategic projects;
  • Pricing and bidding of jobs when necessary based on predetermined guidelines;
  • Technical presentations to customer base including consulting engineers, facility owners, contractors, industry organizations and representatives;
  • Interact with various departments as needed to support sales and complete tasks;
  • Coordinate and attend various market specific trade shows; and
  • Be a positive, contributing member of the senior management team.
 
Position Requirements:
 
 
  • Versed in acquiring, developing and managing key customer accounts;
  • Ability to identify, develop and manage a multi-channel network of sales professionals in the territory;
  • Confident in developing key professional business relationships and presenting at senior levels;
  • Willing and able to travel internationally extensively;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills;
  • Ability to read and understand technical/construction plans and specifications;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • General knowledge of construction procedures and processes;
  • Application experience with various Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and Explorer.
  • Multi-lingual (Spanish and English) capabilities are required.  Portuguese would be a benefit.
  • 5-10 years related field experience; and
  • Bachelor’s degree required engineering, construction or related degree preferred.
