Description
SUMMARY:      Perform administrative duties for the Divisional QC Department, including data collection, analysis and reporting. Assist in the CST Storage Quality Program and specific Customer, ISO & API requirements. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collection, scanning and electronic filing of Quality Documentation including Material Test Reports(MTR’s)
  • Assist and analyze timely and accurately inspection data to be able to provide concise, useful and unambiguous reports.
  • Maintain the Quality drive (Q-Drive) for the division.
  • Interface with others internal to the company and communicate quality problems in a professional and effective manner.
  • Coordinate daily workload promptly and effectively.
  • Assist in the coordination of external testing of materials and product
  • Assist in the maintenance of the ISO/API Document Control System.
  • Assist in the collation of monthly performance data generated from internal defects and customer complaints through QMS.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • High School Diploma or GED, prefer Associates degree
  • Min 2 years’ experience using Microsoft suite of tools.
  • Must be able to effectively work independently, be well organized and detail oriented.
  • Must be able to interface with others in a professional manner.
  • The ability and willingness to learn new tasks and software programs as appropriate
 
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
  • Ability to read and interpret documents (with adequate training).
 
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole, fractional, and decimal numbers.
 
REASONING ABILITY:
  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatical form.
  • Handle problems involving variables in a standardized situation.
  • Ability to make decisions and know when/where to seek further assistance / clarification.
 
  
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Regularly walk, sit, talk and hear.
  • Regular use of computer equipment including scanners, copiers, printers, etc.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Office based, but occasionally includes working in a noisy, non-air-conditioned work area including busy forklift traffic zones
