Description
We are looking for a PT Sales and Marketing Assistant in our Lenexa, KS location. This will be a part-time contract position, approximately 20-30 hours per week lasting up to 6 months. 

The Sales and Marketing Assistant will assist in the execution of our marketing and sale support activities at our CST headquarters in Lenexa, KS.  The position will report to the VP Sales with a wide range of administrative and support responsibilities focused on domestic activities.  This is a hands-on position that requiring tactical skills to assemble documents, populate databases, create content and develop tools to assist the sales and marketing teams in achieving objectives.  This would be a great opportunity for a college student looking to gain experience in the sales/marketing arena. 
 

Responsibilities

  • Update all channel partner contact information and coverage databases
  • Consolidate lead data and contact information and enter into a single system to further CST contact database
  • Create repository for reference projects with standard format and content
  • Assemble training documents for internal and external product and market training
  • Support by involving in handling of sales and administrative reports and confidential documents and agreements as needed
  • Assist in coordinating promotional activities, sales meetings, sales training and other events as requested
  • Developing and maintaining PowerPoint presentations in support of marketing, business development and sales efforts
  • Developing relationship with and support Covers Rep’s with collateral, sales training and best practices
  • Communicating with and within the sales team to gather information useful for the management in research and planning
  • Input of current marketing processes and developing opportunities for improving marketing team’s efficiency and effectiveness
 Minimum Education & Certification Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Working toward a 4 year degree, preferably in marketing, communications, journalism, organizational development, business or other marketing related area
 Knowledge & Experience
  • Understanding of marketing concepts
  • Highly proficient in MS Office Suite software particularly with Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated in driving projects to completion on time while overcoming obstacles.
  • Aptitude for understanding technical topics and communicating them to the general public in clear and understandable ways.
  • CRM system experience in entering, collating, disseminating and reporting lead data. Experience with SalesForce a plus.
  • Multitasking skills capable of tracking and moving forward multiple projects at once.
  • Effective project management skills.
  • Excellent proofreading skills.
  • History of responsibilities on projects or initiatives at a company or in during schooling
