We are looking for an Field Operations Supervisor for CST Storage in our Conroe, TX location.

Under general direction, organizes, monitors, and supervises all tank installations and repairs. Report project progress, problem solve, manage project cost and manage safety training.  Develop and communicate construction plans and schedule to foreman.  Work with construction management team and field employees to maintain a safe work environment.  
Responsibilities: 

• The successful execution of all CST Storage construction activities within the allocated time frame and budget.
• Ensuring that all construction activities are conducted in a safe manner, and comply with all OSHA, MSHA, CST Storages, and customers’ safety requirements.
• Facilitating continuous communication between the field crews and the Conroe office and corporate office (Construction Manager, Director of Construction, PM, Engineering, etc.).
• Conduct safety training/awareness to promote a safe working environment.
• Develop and implement best practices to improve operational efficiency.
• Monitor and manage expenses within the assigned budget for all installations.
• Interpersonal skills commensurate with maintaining excellent customer relations.
• Reporting the status of all of the jobs on a daily basis including the progress relative to the schedule and budget, any identified safety and/or quality issues, and any anticipated problems (and their impact on the scheduled completion date) to the construction manager.
• Ensuring that the field crews have the necessary tools, equipment, and safety equipment to successfully complete the work.
• Ensuring an atmosphere that promotes the growth/training of all field personnel.
• Maintaining and accounting for company tools and equipment.
• Complying with, and enforcing all safety rules and standards.
• Prepare effective training plans to promote safe and quality installations
• Assist in interviewing, recruiting and training new hires.
• Evaluate performance levels of field crews.
• Prepare work schedules for field crews.
• Ensure quality and productivity meet goals.

Requirements:  
Associates degree in construction and safety management preferred or equivalent experience.  
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction with specific experience in the erection of pre-engineered structures and general construction knowledge. 
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
Must be able to train, guide and monitor the performance of the Field Foreman. 
Must be capable of climbing and working from elevated positions in excess of 150 feet.
Up to 75% travel  (primarily domestic)
