We are looking for a Technology Support Analyst in our Conroe, TX location.

The Technical Support Analyst administers all aspects of Business Technology in support of the organization.  This role provides end user support on company provided hardware and software platforms by responding to user requests. This includes providing outstanding customer service at all levels within the organization and diagnosing and resolving issues in a timely manner. 

Responsibilities: 

• Monitor and maintain performance of computer systems (especially backups, servers, switches, and other common equipment) on a daily basis including after-hours support and monitoring
• Monitor Helpdesk Support System for new tickets, create and update tickets as support is performed
• Maintain system security, Anti-Virus, and disaster recovery solutions per company policies
• Order, install, modify and remove hardware and software as per company standards
• Maintain inventory records of computer and cell phone equipment in the asset management system
• Perform needs assessment, product review and provide procurement advice for software and hardware.  Advise end-users and management on recommendations
• Manage setup and deployment of computer and cell phones (as appropriate) for new employees using standard hardware and software
• Routinely collaborate with technology team on technical troubleshooting, problem resolution, unit coverage, and product recommendations
• Provide support for both local and remote sites
• Other projects as assigned

 
Requirements

• Associates Degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science or related field preferred
• Two years’ relevant technical experience supporting internal customers
• Experience with Windows 7 and 10
• Experience with Windows Server (2003, 2008, 2012)
• Experience with networking equipment and protocols (Firewalls, Switches, TCP/IP, VPN, DHCP, etc.)
• Experience with centrally managed Anti-Virus software
• Proven proficiency in various desktop operating system environments and basic desktop applications suites, including word-processing, spreadsheet and email such as Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to work on multiple projects in a deadline driven environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• 10% travel
